((((((((LADIES: HERE'S THE EASY WAY TO SAVE YOUR VISION BOARD ONCE YOU'VE COMPLETED IT)))))))))))))

The Oprah site has this wonderful resource to create these boards, sharing them can be a a little tricky unless you know a trick. Follow these steps.

1.) Create your Vision Board. (Must sign up to be a member on Oprah's site to do this.)

2.) DO NOT save your board. 

3.) Hit the Share Button. 

4.) Hit the Envelope in the drop screen, to email your board. 

5.) Enter your email address in the next pop up, you're emailing your board to yourself, hit send. 

6.) The email will arrive, open the link that gives the title that you gave your board. 

7.) A new window opens, right click your mouse over your board's image. 

8.) Click "save as" and remember where you are saving your picture. It's best to save it where you have other pictures saved, give your image the same name you titled it on the O Site for easy rememberance. 

9.) Go to the folder where the picture was saved and open it. 

10.) You can now post it on SistaStrong, Facebook, Twitter, print it, what ever you like the same way you would any picture.

I'm really hoping this inspires the Sistas to start this excersise. This is something that I've been doing for years and it was big with one of the original SistaStrong groups back in 2004. The one below I created about 6 months ago. When I saw Dr. Nycole's recent event where she brought vision boards to a group of women in her area, I knew she'd be the perfect person to introduce this to SS. Thanks my Sista! Ladies, jump on this, it's one of those things that you may feel you dont have time to do, but it will prove itself to be one of those things you cant afford not to do. -TLC

Ladies, I've just come across something that can act as a living Dream Board for you on Pinterest. I know alot of you had intentions to add your Dream Boards to I'm sure a long list of to do's. Pinterest allows you to "pin" pics in albums created by you and I've quickly noticed how much of a Dream Board my first board is. Check it out. Pinterest is soooooooo cool.  My sons teacher told me about it and I meant to share but I have been a little under the weather.  I know everyone will enjoy it.

Isnt it though??? I'm loving it. Sadly FB has become like work to for me b/c I'm always promoting SS there, so this gives me something fun to do. I've only been on a few hours and I absolutely love it. I couldnt find you on there. Do you have an account already? If not, let me know, you have to have an invite to join, I can send you over one. It connects so well to what SS is doing, we need visuals for our dreams. And outside of that, it's just freggin fun!
