Thank lady!!!! I cant wait to see all that SS is going to achieve & so glad that I am blessed enough to be on the journey w/ you Sistas!!!!

 I was visiting a friend today and she was depressed about having a difficult time providing for her kids and even scraping to have food. I have been there at one point.She showed doubt in God providing her needs! I looked at her and noticed how beautiful she looked in what she was wearing, and kindly asked her if I could look in her pantry, cabinets and fridge, As I arose from her beautiful furniture, turned on her light that lit the chandelier in her dining room,  I saw bread, milk, hamburger, hotdogs, can goods, rice, salmon, kool aid other items to make  meals with. I kindly returned to her and said "You have plenty!", she stated that the kids are tired of that!. HMM! I reminded her that God has provided the things that she need. "Give us this day, our daily bread" the bible does not say "Give us this day, our daily steak, or prime rib". Not only that, He provided her clothing, furniture, lights, chandelier, her HOME, she is BLESSED! she realized that God had given her all that she need and then some, then I reminded her that whatever she cook that the kids don't like, then they will be hungry! She is not a short order cook, and when their stomachs start eating itself, then dinner is in the fridge to be warmed up!! they got what they need and since they don't have jobs..... We all know the rest!, there are people who WISH they had what she had... She got it, and I think the kids will get it if they complain about anything! LOL. Thank you Jesus

So nicely put I can't even begin to express the tugs this post you have shared w/us Sistas, has truly done to my spirit. This year will be the 1st time  I am participating in an event that is supporting Breast Cancer & I am more excited than words can say!!!! I have always been one to "want" & get involved but for one reason or another I gave myself every excuse not to. This year in 2012, that will cease. This year I am getting out of my "excuse box" & going to start taking full advantage of life's blessings!! I have missed out on too much for too long. Thank you for helping me to see that we all really have to do more. We have to want more....not just for our selves...but for our Sistas!!! All of them!!!!!
