Today Was One of Thoooose Days!
Today was one of those days!
Yes one of thoooose days.
The day when frustration was at a hilt.
Today was one of those days!
Yes one of thoooose days.
When my nerves were worked to the tilt.
Today was one of those days!
Yes one of thooooose days.
When anger and irritation were at a stand still in my mind.
Today was one of those days!
Yes one of thoooose days.
Together they danced as I attempted to push through my grind.
Today was one of those days!
Yes one of thooooose days.
When just to get through it was a nail biter.
Today was one of those days!
Yes one of thoooose days.
When the pressure was intense, and grew tighter and tighter.
But now I sit in sweet surrender wanting to refocus my gaze and remember....
Today was one of thoooose days too.
Today was one of those days, yes one of those days.
When I woke up this morning, squinting to another bright morning sun.
Today was one of those days, yes one of those days.
When I recall the desires of my heart that have already come.
Today was one of those days, yes one of those days.
When I thought a thought and it was in my right mind.
Today was one of those days, yes one of those days.
when I could walk, breath, kneel and reach, let me remind.
Today was one of those days, yes one of those days.
When I could kiss the cheeks of my baby boy's face.
Today was one of those days, yes one of those days.
When I recall before he was here and
I pondered year after year
if he would ever know this place.
So I end this day recounting the moments in replay
That days like this will come.
But I choose to remember that each moment is tender
And every day lived is a victory won.

Thanks Shell Shell. You know what was going on when I wrote this, ha! I cant say the next day was a whole lot better....details to follow ;) But I wil always keep perspective. Writing has become a healthy outlet. #RealChallengesRealOvercomingThem
